Prayer Rides
For upcoming Prayer Ride information, check the calendar.
We will attempt to post prayer rides/walks as far in advance
as possible. Prayer rides will be coordinated with the needs
of horses and people in mind. Those who do not have horses and
desire to walk are welcome to join us. In the past, bicycles
and motorcycles have taken alternate prayer routes and met with
us at the end of the trail, which is the church grounds for
a final prayer and BBQ. As we ride the route, we pray for our
community, our valley, our state, our country, and the world.
“When the righteous are
in authority, the people rejoice;
But when the wicked man rules, the people groan.”
Proverbs 29:2
“Therefore I exhort first of
all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of
thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority,
that we may lead a quiet, peaceable life in all godliness and
reverence.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge
of the truth.”
1 Timothy 2:1-4
“Every place that
the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you,
as I said to Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon as
far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of
the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of
the sun, shall be your territory. No man shall be able to stand
before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so
I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Be
strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide
as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to
give them. Only be strong and very courageous, that you may
observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant
commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the
left, that you may prosper wherever you go. This Book of the
Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate
in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to
all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous,
and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you?
Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed,
for the Lord you God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:3-9
God said, “Go up and
possess it!”
“So I will restore to you the years that the swarming
locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust,
and the chewing locust, my great army which I sent among you.
You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name
of the Lord your God, who has dwelt wondrously with you; And
my people shall never be put to shame.
Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the
lord your God and there is no other. My people shall never be
put to shame.”
Joel 2:25-27
