POWER-UP MINISTRIES MEET ON WEDNESDAYS 6:30
– 8:00 PM
If you’ve ever been close to the chutes at the rodeo,
you may have heard a bullrider or bronc rider call out, “Let’s
power up, boys!” That means, “let’s pray for
strength, protection, and a good ride.”
In today’s world, our kids need the same things: strength,
protection and a “good ride” in life. There are
too many things trying to snag them along the way to “kill,
steal, and destroy” (John 10:10) their future. But, God
says that the plans He has are for hope, and a good, successful
future. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Every Wednesday evening thoughout the school year we meet with
kids from five to twelve years old to help them “Power-Up”
in life. As they build a strong foundation on biblical principles,
they will walk in the strength and protection of the Lord. We
expect that the truths instilled in these champions will ensure
they have a “good ride” in life!
During the summer we hold a Kids Cowboy Bible Camp, as well
as monthly get-togethers with the kids, called a “Fun
